Boswellia – This herb contains anti-inflammatory properties that soothe overworked muscles.

Devil’s Claw – The medicinally active roots in this herb ease muscular pain in the back, shoulders, and neck. A normal dosage of Devil’s Claw is 750 mg taken three times a day.
Vitamin C – To help increase blood vessel elasticity and integrity, eat foods high in vitamin C. For example, berries, plums, citrus fruits, bell peppers, and broccoli are all rich in Vitamin C.
White Willow Bark – According to Cathy Wong in the article Herbs for Pain Management, this herb contains aspirin-like compounds that are known to lessen muscle, joint, and back pain.
