Calendula – Acts as an anti-inflammatory, astringent, and anti-septic. Calendula lotions, creams, and oils slow down bleeding and increase new skin growth.
Cayenne Pepper – Only use this for minor cuts and scrapes, not on open wounds. The capsaicin found in cayenne pepper speeds healing and thwarts pain messages from being sent to the brain. Wipe off the pepper when you feel a decrease in pain.
Honey – This powerful anti-microbial reduces the chance of infection. Apply honey to the wound and cover with a bandage. Change the bandage every 4-6 hours.

Sugar – Kill bacteria and speed healing by sprinkling sugar on the wound twice daily. Apply petroleum jelly around the outside of the wound to keep the sugar in place.
